Our Wedding Tour across the United States was not just a photography project — it was a life decision.
In 2012, we left Brazil and moved to the U.S. to work as wedding photographers. What started as international work soon evolved into a deeper calling: to experience the country fully, connect with different cultures, and document weddings in their most honest form.
Two years later, we transformed a van into our home and began traveling across the United States as a family — Dani, Grasi, and our son Otto — photographing real weddings, elopements, and intimate celebrations from state to state.

Documenting Weddings in All 50 States
This wedding tour took us through cities, deserts, forests, coastlines, and small towns. We photographed weddings in:
Backyards and private homes
Boats and waterfront ceremonies
Zoos and aquariums
City halls and courthouses
National parks and iconic locations like Central Park, NYC
Theme parks, including Disney parks
Each wedding reflected the couple’s personality, values, and way of life. There were no formulas. No repeated timelines. Every celebration was different. That diversity became the foundation of our documentary storytelling approach.

American weddings taught us something powerful:
weddings don’t need to follow rules — they need to reflect people.
Couples trusted us without micromanaging. Many booked us knowing that what they would receive was not a checklist of poses, but a story — told honestly, emotionally, and organically.

Raising a Child on the Road
Otto grew up surrounded by photography. On this journey, he received his first camera and began documenting weddings alongside us.
Guests loved him. Couples embraced him. He became part of the celebration — dancing with brides, laughing with grooms, and reminding everyone that weddings are about joy.
While traveling, Otto studied through homeschooling, expanding his education beyond classrooms and into cultures, people, and lived experiences.
This journey didn’t pause our family life, it strengthened it.
Why This Wedding Tour Changed Everything
When Otto was younger, he began asking why we were always working and rarely present.
That question forced us to rethink everything.
We realized we were living on autopilot.
This wedding tour became our answer a way to align:

And to build a life where work supported our values, not the other way around.

The End of the Tour,
And the Beginning of a Legacy
By the end of 2016, we completed this chapter of our journey. The Wedding Tour across the United States came to a close — but its impact never did. What remains is more than a collection of photographs. It’s a legacy of trust, presence, and storytelling. A deep understanding that weddings are not performances — they are lived experiences. And that the best stories happen when you allow space for real moments to unfold.
